Yes, I know. I posted a cello version of Astor Piazzolla's "Oblivion" just four nights ago (here), but I just now found Sangah Noona's piano version and, after listening to it, I couldn't resist posting it too. I sometimes enjoy listening to the same song (or piece?) by different artists one right after another (and sometimes after even yet another). Her version is as beautiful as I imagined it would be. I don't know how I missed it until now. You may remember that I posted her version of "The Sounds of Silence" in September (here).

Very Nice - Great Version of "Oblivion" - 👍 👏 👏

Keeping the theme of Astor Piazzolla's music going - here is another beautiful song "Escualo" / classical guitar interpretation by Victor Villadangos 💕

Wow‼️ I loved that! I can’t believe I’ve never heard that one before. Or maybe I heard Piazzolla’s own version long ago and didn’t like it and so quickly forgot about it, but Victor Villadangos’ guitar version was exactly the right version to hear first/now. I like it so much that I had to postpone shutting of the light and going to sleep, so I can tap out this comment on my iPP. :) And now I’m wide awake again, of course. Ha.

I’ll definitely be listening to it again tomorrow. Thank you for sharing it.

The following are my three favorite songs on the never-released 1970 album "Fly Away" by Agincourt (which I discovered only last week). Click here to listen to the full album (uploaded by RarestRecords).

Description by RarestRecords:
'Fly Away' was never officially released. Each copy had the words, 'demo recording…' on the rear of the sleeve. Musically, 'Fly Away' was miles away from just a demo, and one of the best acid-folk albums of its day, putting the original 'Merlin' pressing's value … around … £2,000 [$2,640] … today.

1 of 3.) Agincourt -When I Awoke (1970)

2 of 3.) Agincourt -Though I May Be Dreaming (1970)
(don't judge it too soon)

3 of 3.) Agincourt - Dawn (1970)

thanks - that is one of my favorite classical guitar performances and also one of my favorite Astor Piazzolla's songs "Escualo"

Everytime I listen to this performance I see and hear new parts and harmonies and rhythms i did not notice before - I am sure it is a signature track for Victor Villadangos (the video production is better than most of his YouTube publications)

There are also many other great version - piano / accordion / quartet type versions too 💕

Rousseau - Happy Birthday if it were written by Liszt - LOL - 👏 🤣

I love this channel 💕

Wouldn't you like to see the look on a kid's face if you were to play that on his or her birthday? I can almost see a scene like that in some comedy movie. 😂

Also, what a small world it is. As you know, last night I posted "And I Love Her" by Jose Feliciano. That was actually a last-second choice. My choice up to that moment had been down to two combinations: A.) a piece by one of Rousseau's competitors, along with his own version of the same piece, or B.) two pieces by that competitor (to follow a theme I started yesterday). I had all but settled on choice B when I scrolled past the Feliciano song in my iTunes library, and I chose it instead. I was going to save choice B for some other time this week, because I didn't want to do it twice in one day. 😎

The first time I watched a video with these sorts of graphics (2 or 3 months ago), it made me realize just how incredibly complicated it actually is to play the piano, much more so than I had ever imagined before (and I had already imagined that it was extremely complicated). Even more so, I realized just how superhuman a composer has to be to first imagine all of those notes in his/her head and then, second, to figure out which of those umpteen piano keys are the ideal ones to tap to make the representative sounds of those notes.

The choice of pieces is also inadvertent. I was determined to choose one of Kassia's videos, no matter what, but, until I looked in my folder full of URLs, I didn't remember that they are the same Vivaldi pieces that I had already posted a few days ago. However, I like the idea, so here you go.

Just finished both 👍 - very nice

For some music - especially these 2 particular pieces - it is fun to listen to different interpretations and different instruments even - or perhaps like this - some visual enhancement 👏

My "choice A" last night was Kassia's and Rousseau's versions of "Winter." I really like both of them, but hers sounds more "elaborate" (can't think of a better word at the moment) than his, so, for that reason, I didn't want to display them side by side. People in Kassia's comment section were arguing which version is better (I say "apples and oranges"). A number of them said his is the more complex interpretation even though it doesn't sound like it to my untrained ears. I'm no piano player, so I couldn't say. The commenters seem to be pianists, so I'll take their word for it, even though my ears can't hear what they know. I still like both.
