Yann Tiersen, simply fantastic music.

Unfortunately, a few years ago I saw him live at a concert, and he was moody, morose, and self-indulgent; actually, he played lots of heavy metallic rock, which was not what those of us who had bought his CDs and loved his music actually anticipated from him. Perhaps it was a bad hair day.

Cheers and good luck

Mercury And Solace - by BT, from the Movement In Still Life album. Happens to be playing right now, part of a genius playlist based on a song called "Battleship Grey" By Tiesto.

When I first heard "Jewish Reggae", I was a bit sceptical, but I can't get enough now. 🙂

Fantastic piece. I'm listening to Antonio Soler's Fandango, another piece of 18th century brilliance, and one of my all time favourite pieces of music.

Cheers

all this talk of baroque has inspired me to listen to the brandenburg concertos again.

Brandenburg Concerto's 1-6 - Trevor Pinnock & The English Consort.
