Right this second I'm listening to Florence + The Machine - Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)

For the last week or so I've been alternating mostly between 2 albums, My friend recommended them, and their awesome! I never would have heard of them if he hadn't recommend them. I need to expand my music listening. 🙂

Frankmusik - Complete Me
Not a Bad track on the entire CD IMHO

and

Florence + The Machine - Lungs

I wouldn't call it butchered, but something about the performance does seem a bit... well... off-kilter.

skunk, could you recommend a "good" performance on YouTube or other site, as a comparison?

Probably not.

But here is something to clear your pallet. 😉

Thanks. I'll check it out.

In the meantime...
Now playing: Paul Van Dyk "Forbidden Fruit", from Seven Ways.
Before that: Will Smith "Miami", from Big Willie Style.

/see? Told you my collection isn't all 80s!

Today I'm working from home, aided and abetted by a bit of early Neil Young.

After The Gold Rush at present, with Harvest lined up for when that's done.

Christmas isn't complete without Mannheim Steamroller. Strangely enough, I had heard a couple of things by MS before the Christmas album series started. Their Fresh Aire V album sounds almost exactly like their first Christmas album, with all the arpeggios and Prophet 5 synth chords and everything. I heartily recommend it.

And as for me...
Now playing: VNV Nation "Beloved", from Futureperfect.
Before that: The Sisters Of Mercy "This Corrosion", from Floodland.

(My iPod was on somewhat of a Goth/Industrial trend this morning...)

Everytime I hear Christmas and music in the same sentence I think of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I may have to start listening to that today, since its that time of year again. I think they are on one of my mp3 players I have with me at work.

Right now I am listening to Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys. Some good ol' old style, be swingin, rockin music.
