The Super Bowl Half Time Show is on, and unfortunately, I'm listening to The Crap Eyed Peas.

They should have lip-synced.

Le Premier Ciel, by Harmonium, on their album L'heptade.

I'm pretty sure no one here knows this, but those who like progressive folk might want to give it a shot :)

I was equally underwhelmed, and so was my daughter, who likes "The Time (The Dirty Bit)" a lot. BEP tried to do too many of their hits at once; they should have stuck with two or three. Although I have respect for Slash's guitar playing, we could have done without Fergie's rendition of G'n'R. This performance has proved beyond doubt that BEP is officially a pop group now.

Anyone else notice the lighting problem with the "V" part of the stage?

The only nifty part of the performance was the light strings on the dancers, IMO.

The proof has been around for years. Perhaps that was their "jumping the shark" moment.....

I noticed the lighting issues.

GREAT, exhilarating music for a fast walk or a long drive.

Still good even though the music was recorded in the 1980's.

I have an old 45" single of this, from my childhood/pre-teen days; it's a bit the worse for wear, so I haven't bothered to convert it for my iTunes library. From what I remember, though, it was rather nifty, and is a great way to introduce "the classics" to children, even with the "Stars On 45" computer-disco beat.

yesterday was a pearl jam day
