The Sci Fi Channel is supposed to be doing a miniseries based on the books... if done right, this would be AWESOME.

Wait until you get to the bit in Blue Mars where KSR explains the inner workings of the human brain... fascinating and brilliant stuff.

OOhhh, I would love that a lot. These are a great series of books and something needs to be done with them. They can't hide in obscurity forever!

Anyway, about the Sci-Fi series... I wonder how they are going to age the characters so that they look 140 years old... or did the longevity treatments make them look young, too?

Atonement — Ian McEwan

I absolutely love this book. It is one of the few that I re-read on a regular basis - without giving anything away, the final chapter of the book casts the rest of it in a completely different light, and a second reading is very rewarding.

Dang, are you in seminary? I would like to read some Bonhoeffer. There's supposed to be a movie/documentary out soon.
