64GB 5 in black to 128GB 6+ in SG. Pre-ordered through AT&T and waiting...

Black 32 GB HTC One M7. This will be my 2nd time switching to an iPhone after being a hardcore android user since day 1. The 6 Plus seemed too nice to pass up.

5 16GB Grey to 6 64GB Grey
I was going to upgrade to 32gb, but the 64 for the same price is cool. Keeping the 16gb in the lineup is strange. Apple KNOWING that it isn't enough for most. I mean how many people with the 16 GB phone that upgraded to iOS 8 had to delete stuff to do it?

I'm currently using my original iPhone from 2007. It's hell. I need a real phone and am currently waiting for my iPhone 6 Plus 64 GB to be delivered.

I upgrade every year, therefore I'm upgrading from the 5s. Personally seeing how much the iPhone has changed from 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5S, has been awesome. I don't think I could ever miss the most current iPhone.

Same here. I have a black 32GB iPhone 5. My 64 GB iPhone 6 order status is now in "preparing for shipment." I waited to order because of contract but now I've decided to go Att Next when Att dropped my rate low enough for it to make economic sense. I was paying close to $260 for 5 lines sharing 4GB. Now I'm paying under $140 for the same 5 lines with 10GB using Att Next, (plus phone payments of course). If you upgrade at 12 months, they require you to turn in your own phone and it amounts to a "lease" where At&t gets to keep the residual value of your 1 year old device.

But if you keep your phone until your 20 or 24 payments are done, it's yours. To me this is the best of both worlds. I get lower monthly rates and I get to keep the device if it's "good enough" for 2 years' use. If I'm itching to replace it with a 6s, I won't mind trading it in though I would lose money on it because it would likely be worth more than what I've already made in payments at that point. I guess I'd consider the difference to be At&t's "fee" so I wouldn't have to waste time on craigslist or ebay to get more for my 1 year old device at that point. Well it isn't quite the best of both worlds as the rates I'm paying still aren't as low as what Tmobile or Sprint would charge for the same plan but At&t's network is substantially better than theirs so it's worth it to me.

I had considerable trouble placing my order. I called to check eligibility and the rep transferred me to a "DMDR" department which took me through the entire ordering process, then asked for a credit card to pay the tax. Yes you heard it right. They already have me on postpaid billing but they wanted a credit card to pay for the tax since the At&t Next down payment is essentially zero (tax only). The call dropped as soon as I completed giving them the credit card and security code and At&t never called me back so I called them back and the next rep insisted there is no such thing as phone ordering. I called my bank and closed that credit card then called At&t AGAIN. This time they admitted there is such a thing as a "DMDR" department and apologized for the way I was treated. I decided At&t is too incompetent to handle something as complex as a phone order and went to Apple.com to order my device. Whew. Meanwhile everything that's tied to that credit card from Amazon to ebay to paypal to netflix all had to be reset. Fine. It's worth it as I discovered Hulu was still billing me after I thought I had cancelled 6 months ago. I've got some charges to dispute!

As for the feel in the hand, I went to the Apple store and laid my iPhone down next to an iPhone 6 and an iPhone 6+ with all 3 phones on the email inbox. I really like the 1080p 6+ the best but it sticks out of my shirt pocket like a 1970's era HP calculator but the iPhone 6 barely peeks out of my pocket and I can "live with" 750 pixels wide. I also like the optical image stabilization of the iPhone 6+ but I'll have to live without it to get a more pocketable device. In the attached photo, I snapped a photo using my iPhone 5 of an iPhone 6 next to another customer's Samsung GS4. I have a work-issued GS4 which fits comfortably in my pocket with a Spigen case so I know the iP6 will fit nicely. Ok I also slipped one in my pocket in the Apple store for a few seconds with the tether hanging out of my pocket so I could see how it felt. :D

4s => 6 plus
my girlfriend went Xperia L (lol) => 6 plus after using her iPad air for a year she couldn't take it anymore, Xperia L made her mad.

3 1/2 yr. old LG G2X to 64gb iPhone Plus Silver.

T-Mobile didn't have iPhones then.

It's great having a phone that I can use for more than phone calls, and I don't have to lug my iPad everywhere now. I also like how everything is now kind of synced together, MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone.
