As far as the body is concerned, what have you found to be a good protection against scratches etc?

Tried a Moshi- it cracked after two days and didn't really fit well to begin with. I don't recommend it.

My previous MBP had a Speck, which lasted reasonably well, and only had issues with tabs breaking off.

I've been impressed with Zagg products on my phones, and feel that the tacky finish would be beneficial for grip. I'm debating between that and a Wrapsol, since I'm sort of tired of snap on cases.

I toyed around with the idea of getting a speck matte case, and just ended up going naked...lol

I did however get an incase bag thats made specifically for the 13 inch Retina and I love it. The inside is lined with a very soft felt material that fits like a glove, and the front has two pockets that house my charger, and the other has my iklear spray and rag in it. Definitely worth the $49 price tag!

Nothing besides an incase sleeve for when it's in a bag.

Same here but I use a Colcasac sleeve. I also use an Apple wireless keyboard and wireless trackpad whenever possible to save wear on the notebook's palm rest, keyboard and trackpad. I suppose that counts towards protecting my retina too.

Nothing except a Waterfield sleeve when in transit. Find it hard to believe anyone would want to cover up that beautiful aluminium....

15" rMBP: Nothing.

If I ever did travel, I'd consider a sleeve.

I just take it to work or Starbucks at the moment and am extremely careful. I treat it more carefully than my infant son LoL

I take it to school every day in a Tom Binh Brain Bag. It gets used in class, all over the home (couch, bed, desk, shower), in coffee shops, in bars, and in restaurants. There isn't a single scratch on it. I'd be more afraid of it overheating or scratching from putting a case on.

I still have my "case" from my old MBP. Since it's at least three years old. I forget the bag name and brand.

You use your rMBP in the shower?!

I'm using a full body set Wrapsol film protectors, an Incase rMBP designed sleeve, and this Incipio rMBP frost case (in person it is translucent and almost makes the rMBP appear naked). I also own a Speck case but I prefer this for its thinner profile. The only drawback of this case is how far back you can tilt the screen.

I use speck Smart Shell when travelling and moving laptop between different locations.

At home it has nothing on it.

I'm still looking for rmbp 13 case which is not plastic and like the satin of speck.
I heard speck scratch the aluminium body so i want something else.

I got satin Speck case. It is a bit "softer" than normal see thru case and no, it doesn't scratch the case.

Scratches from hard cases is generally a side effect of dirt and grit getting under the shell. Plastic can't scratch anodized aluminum.
