That looks like a Spec case...I didn't bother translating but for all intents and purposes, they look identical

I use common sense to protect my machine.

?

I'm still looking for rmbp 13 case which is not plastic and like the satin of speck.
I heard speck scratch the aluminium body so i want something else.

Spec doesn't scratch the MBP. I've got a half dozen MBPs of all sizes, including a pair of rMBP. All where the clear Spec case. We've been using them for five years. I sell the laptops when they're two years old and everyone of them has been immaculate. Excellent protection. We use them every day and in a working environment.

how long you have it?

I had it since day 1, it was November when I bought it but it was on the laptop only for few weeks when I was on holidays. It was moved around the place, case was on and off few time - no scratches.

At home, macbook sits naked on the HiRise stand with external monitor so no need for any cases when home.

To be honest, there are 2 options, Speck case (or similiar) or sleeve.

I think that Speck cases are more universal, and you don't need to worry about scratching your expensive laptop any more.

The only downside of it? It gets dirt between the case and laptop body so from time to time it needs cleaning.

lmao

For me personally I have a "carbon fiber" skin. I don't really need a hardcase to protect it but I do like having the skin on to prevent it from "life". You know the crap happens like pens/pencils coming into contact or maybe you push the Macbook into something or it comes into contact with something with your bag accidentally.

I hear you, I'm thinking about getting the same type of thing. I'm planning to pick up a nice skin from the store around next week.

I use this Incase sleeve:

Snug fit and soft, cushioning interior. I notice the added bulk when placing it in my bag and taking it out but I'm willing to make that compromise for peace of mind while carrying my laptop in my backpack. As for the laptop itself: it's naked for the meantime. I don't want a hardcase compromising the thin profile. I like it as it is.
