I for one, have no idea why I've racked up 90mb in the past two days, with no audio or video streaming.

I go on maybe 30 webpages a day, get 5 emails a day, twitter and facebook often, as well as the occasional data using app.

I shouldn't have this much data.

I'm also using onavo, which compresses data.

So what do you guys use your data on?
I need to track down what is causing this issue.

Apps like Facebook And twitter cache the profile pics so it can scroll faster. Then when the app refreshes, it downloads them again. Plus all of the images in a website are downloaded and all of that can add up after awhile.

Almost All My Data

Which is sent or received via 3G and not on my network at home or at the studio is email. I very rarely browse the web on my data plan.

+ the fact that my contract is up, and I own my phones (all bought direct from Apple) O2 are bleating to keep me....I'm aiming for an unlimited data plan or as close as I can to it....Otherwise it's bye bye and another carrier.

I can rack up quite a few emails when I'm out and about.

Run through all your settings. What are you letting your iPhone "phone home" about?
