hulu.com is perferct for me. but their flash video cannot be watch'd directly on iphone like youtube mobile.

and for eyetv, do i have to get super high speed internet to get hd quality? can that be done in iphone 3g network?

:cool::cool::cool:

wont play for me either. 'this movie cannot be played' error every time.

Im on 2.2 BTW

Glad it's not just me. Is your phone jailbroken? Mine is. Anyway, someone said to turn off safari download plugin and flash plugin but that doesn't make sense since we don't even have flash. The only download plugin setting I found for safari was under settings but even turning that off didn't work.

For any of you guys that have this working, did you have to do anything special to get it to work?

I am jailbroken and downloaded imobilecinema from cydia

That's something completely different though, right? The 3click.tv site isn't related to imobilecinema is it? I didn't read anywhere that you had to install imobilecinema in order for 3click.tv to work.

No you don't need imobilecinema for 3click, but that is the flash plug-in that you previously mentioned that someone told you to make sure was off. And if you have the safari download plug in installed, you might need to turn it off in boss prefs for 3click to work..

Oh - I didn't realize that imobilecinema was the flash plugin. I just installed that but I know how to turn it on and off. How do I know if I have the safari download plugin installed?

You can go into cydia, open up the manage tab and look for it in you installed packages. I know that if you download dtunes it gives you the download plug in along with it, so if you have dtunes then you have the DL plug in too. If you do have it you can install a boss prefs toggle for it and you'll be good to go. Or you could just uninstall it...

I do have dtunes installed so I obviously have the safari download plugin too. Is there any other way to disable it other than through bossprefs? I use SBSettings and I don't really want to use bossprefs if I can avoid it (heard bad things about it). I saw that there's a boss prefs toggle to disable the plugin but that doesn't really help me if I don't have bossprefs installed. I don't really want to uninstall the safari download plugin because I actually use dtunes quite a bit and I assume it won't work properly if I completely uninstall the plugin.

You can still use dtunes if you uninstall the plug-in, you just won't be able to download with it anymore. All media playing functions work fine without it.

I really wish there was an sbsettings toggle for it too. But, boss prefs is a super stable app, so I don't know what "bad things" you are talking about. I like both, but sbsettings has given me some problems with safe mode in the past and its really not a full replacement for boss prefs yet (still needs a lot of toggles). I suggest you use both, until sbsettings gets a toggle for it. I used to just hide boss prefs in my sbsettings dock ;).

Thanks for that info. I didn't think you could have both sbsettings and bossprefs installed at the same time but that's obviously not true. I guess I'll install bossprefs and try it out in conjunction with SBS. I can always just uninstall it if it gives me problems.

Indeed. Good luck. :D

BTW, I and many other people have made requests for a safari download toggle in SBS on the big boss site, but it can't hurt for a few more people to ask for it. ;)

Already did that:D. Anyway, I have the 3click.tv stuff working now but I'm not all that impressed so far. I'm on a fast wifi connection at home and I'm not able to stream smoothly at all (tons of stuttering, pausing, etc). Also, some of the videos still won't play. I don't know if that site is a beta or what but it doesn't work that great for me right now. Maybe there's just not enough bandwidth with everyone hitting the site.
