Are there any hacks you guys are using to make your MBA more functional with Lion?

The one I just discovered, and am about to try, is the following that you type into the terminal:

Code:
chflags nohidden /users/[username]/library

This allows the Library folder to not be hidden.

Are there any other hacks you guys recommend for MBA/Lion?

I've toggled the default "Quit Safari" to "Quit and Discard Windows". What was really nice about this was that by changing the key combos for both (in System Preferences), Safari now shows quit and discard as the standard item and you have to hold down the option key for quit safari.

My favorite so far is the one where you go to Utilities >Keychain Access>Properties>Certificates and set CCL to "off"

Allows the Mac App store to load way faster.

I can't find Properties. All I see is Preferences, and under Certificates I don't see CCL. I see OSP and CRL.

NOT auto-hide menu-bar in full screen

Anybody know how to make the menu bar stay visible when in full-screen mode?
Thanks

thanks, PeterKG, that link to Lion-tweaks is great!

Does just what I need it too.

So for me, I have changed iCal skin and shown hidden files.

I found a link to removing the acceleration for when you have a mouse plugged in. It was absolutely appalling how bad it was. Makes playing games like HoN and SC2 almost impossible due to the cursor jumping all over the screen.

More info please?! It's impossible to play Counter Strike with the acceleration.

2-3

Like to share this - Pressing keys 2 & 3 together on start up will enable your USB ethernet adapter on MBA Lion.

Cheers .. :)
