I've toggled the default "Quit Safari" to "Quit and Discard Windows". What was really nice about this was that by changing the key combos for both (in System Preferences), Safari now shows quit and discard as the standard item and you have to hold down the option key for quit safari.
How do you do this hack?

Like to share this - Pressing keys 2 & 3 together on start up will enable your USB ethernet adapter on MBA Lion.

Cheers .. :)

Holding 3 and 2 boots up in 32 bit mode.
Is this a driver issue with the USB ethernet adaptor and Lion? Does regular bootup not work?

Is this the Apple adapter you are using or a 3rd party one?

I have an Apple-branded USB ethernet adapter and it works just fine when running the 64-bit kernel.

If you're using a 3rd party device with a wonky driver, you may need to drop down to the 32-bit kernel (which is what holding the 3 & 2 keys down during boot do), but I'd rather get a new adapter than have to reboot to a different kernel.

USB Ethernet Adapter

Hello again.
Well, i am using a 3rd party USB adapter for my MBA Lion. It cost much cheaper than Apple's own. (USD10) Regular booting will not work for this adapter.
Anyway, whats the danger booting up from 32bits kernel ? Or is there any ? And what does it mean ?
I certainly do not want to harm my newly shiny MBA. :) Thanks in adv.
