Seeing people's activity tracker screenshots I'm realizing there's far more diversity than I had thought in calorie count. Also I'm wondering if people have different stand and exercise goals.

Mine are 660/30/12. Those are the default goals putting my information in and saying "moderately active". I've had it for a week and my first Monday it didn't recommend a change.

What about you guys?

The Move goal is the only one you can change.

My move goal is 1,000 calories. And I surpass it no less than 4 times a week. I've always worked out, but have stepped up my game since the watch came.

Mine is 300 kcal. I'm 5'7", 135lb woman with a desk job. The watch recommended 270 and I would usually double that on workout days, so I raised it so that I really have to work to get that second loop around the ring. On non-workout days, getting to 250 can be a challenge, so 300 is a good goal for me to have to work for.

I have discovered that if I just up my normal walking pace a little bit I can fill the exercise ring without too much additional effort, and it does get my HR up (I manually check it as the watch no longer does when not in workout mode). So IMO that's good too.

The watch first recommended like 700 calories, that day I walked like 6+ miles and still didn't reach that goal

I'm just at 500, that's good for now

Mine's only 450, and even with a 50 minute brisk walk I don't think I'm going to close it today. Damned work from home days, not enough moving around.

I set mine to 600 and hit it at least 4 out of 7 days a week. I walk quickly and quite a lot during the week, which helps keep up the red and green rings.

I just had to drop mine back to 300 for the next week. I've got elderly family members coming to stay, and I don't think I'm going to have a lot of time for exercise (or anything else except sitting around talking) unless I want to get up at 6am to do an hour on the exercise bike before anyone else is awake.

This is possibly cheating, but I missed my Perfect Month award for last month because of oversleeping/missing Stand goals, and I don't want to miss it again!
