Another example of convenience: I was working in the yard yesterday and got an important text. My hands were filthy - covered in mud and mulch. Normally I'd carefully stick my hand in my pocket for the phone, making a mess of phone, pocket and anything else in there (car keys, house keys, earbuds)I feel that the Apple watch is indeed worth purchasing. I'm hearing impaired and cannot hear my iPhone ring. So, if my phone is on a table a few feet away the Apple watch will alert me to those notifications. The Apple watch will also let me know if something demanding my attention is worth pulling my iPhone out of my backpack when I'm away from home.
Instead, it was all handled with a glance. Response was dictated. Easy. The watch got a bit muddy, but a quick rinse under the faucet fixed it.
