I have a 1st gen ATV 4k, updated to the latest release. However, I only have two options under audio settings:

“Change format” which is set to off, and “Spatial audio” which is set to Dolby Atmos On.

Im on 26.4 (23L243)

Should I be seeing anything else?

Yeah that’s correct for the atv 4K 1st gen.
I see you edited your post now as if you’d had put 1st instead of 3rd I would’ve mentioned that bit Lol.

Interesting. So something is different between 1st gen and later gens as far as audio support that leads to these differences? But what?
Will likely be due to the a10x fusion chip being underpowered compared to what’s in the 2nd and 3rd gen models.

Yeah, edited it, sorry! So the chip is less powerful but is that actually making any difference as far as what audio format or quality is being output?

Why would that be?
I think audio processing's demands on processing power is negligible compared to demands on video processing in UHD and HDR.
IMHO the main difference is in the UI layout (rounded buttons remind me of liquid glass design that is not available on 1Gen).
I would say the Change Format = Off has the same outcome as Auto.
If you turn it on, then the additional options to re-encode into DD5.1 or Stereo, appear.
The only thing I do not see on my 1Gen is the Continuous Audio Connection option.
