I use my iPhone a lot and the days I put it off the charger are on weekdays at school.

I use it for up to 1.5 hours of video playback for fitness+.

But weirdly my AW series 6 battery health drops after updating to a certain beta.

What do you use your iPad Pro for? When you don’t want to use your MacBooks? 💻
I use it when I’m lying in bed.

Watch TV programmes, films, TikTok, YouTube, browsing, email etc.

I spend a few hours on it.

It’s my time out of the world.

Actual health depends on a lot of factors, incl daily usage, environment etc etc and typically, for AW, it stays at 100% for ~ 6-12 months, then slightly degrades typically faster than before over time.
But weirdly my AW series 6 battery health drops after updating to a certain beta.
I was just curious, as my M4 iPad Pro is down to 99%.

Where as my most used devices (Apple Watch & iPhone) are still at 100%.

Have you more recently updated or otherwise rebooted the iPad versus the other devices?

This is only one of many very dynamic factors but observational reports make it appear the OS recalculates current max battery, also referred to as “Battery Health,” upon (re)boot — or most of them anyway. The system will perform such maintenance anyway, but seemingly very infrequently between reboots.

Returning closer to the initial question…

My Watch SE is nearly 4.5 years old, 77% estimated current max battery, and lasts all day, even with a few hours of outdoor exercise. During the first two years or so it was charged about every two days with a 5W Apple branded charging brick. As of the recent couple of years, typically every night via ~2.5W charge, a basic (500mA) USB port that’s integrated alongside AC outlets (for example).

Bro I don’t have an iPad Pro or any other iPad that runs iPadOS so I cannot give you the answer to your first question.

But the power cube you mentioned makes sense. I use a power strip that has USB C and USB A ports on it, I use the usb a port for the Apple Watch charger and USB C for the iPhone. Charges at fast speeds for my iPhone when my Apple Watch isn’t on my dock and normal speed when the Apple Watch is charging at the same time as my iPhone on the dock. With the AirPods does not affect the charging speed in any way.

I also own an older version of this with only USB A ports which is on the other side of my room for my mini lamp.
