What battery management unit model does the mid-2012 model use?

Does it use a Texas Instruments model, by any chance? Or does Apple make its own BMUs?

So far in my experience all Apple batteries have had a TI bqxxxxx controller in the battery. On computer side the origin of the SMC chip is not known to me.
