I went from expensive Calvin Klein and Jockey from Macys to cheap Hanes from Walmart.

The cheap Hanes are much more comfortable, about a quarter the price and last longer. They don't have the brand name. So if you are one of those guys (buffoons) that wear their pants below their butt with no shirt on so that people can see their underwear, then by all means buy the CK's.

I am not against designer clothing. Most of my stuff is from Macy's. I just happened to find there is not much difference in briefs and under shirts.

@Invalid
We need to see them in the wild, on a human specimen, you know for science. You dont want to let science down do you?

Trust us. We're scientists. We have white coats.

Fruit of the Loom, Rheb, 2(x)ist, Kenneth Cole, Gap, H&M. There are others, but I'm forgetting them. 2(x)ist and H&M make the best, IMO. They last forever and are very comfy.

The Kenneth Coles are amazingly comfortable, just not cheap.

Gap and Old Navy. Very comfortable and last quite a long time.

Boxer briefs are the ONLY underwear I wear. They are the best. I never understood boxers. Why wear anything?

QFT. Boxer briefs, FTW.

I never understood boxers. If I wanted the boys to be flopping around, I'd go commando.

Well put. Also, boxers tend to ride up. And of course, there's enough room that your partner in crime starts resting down a pant leg. Not comfortable! :eek:

I wear both boxers and boxer briefs - boxers for casual stuff and any sports/activities/etc get the more supportive underwears. Briefs are pretty much right out since it's just a panel of fabric, not an actual pouch.

I have to say there is a difference between going commando and wearing boxers. They're not intended as support so much as just an extra layer between The Accoutrements and the (more abrasive) denim of the jeans.

Plus they don't do much if somebody "wakes up" at an inopportune moment. ;)

Ah, no worries there - why do anything about that? Just hold your head high, stand with your hands on your hips, and smile. That's just one of life's joys. :D:D:D

I can definitely attest to this - once recently I pulled on a pair of shorts - nothing underneath - to run out to the truck to get something, and by the time I got back inside I thought I was going to be rubbed raw. I wasn't, but it was just unbearable.

And boxers can bunch up. If you ever wear a sarong when it's really hot and humid you'll notice a big difference right away when you dump your underwear.

Under Armour boxer jocks for when you want support and breathability but you don't want a jock strap. I like them so much, I use them for every day underwear.
