Does the watch adjust like th iPhone with brightness I'm sure the 18 hours is only at lowest brightness

i set it to max for now.
funny thing though - it seems as if there's an auto-brightness built in.
my screen is clearly brighter outside, and darkens when i go to a dark place.

can anyone confirm?

Yes. It has an ambient light sensor.
