To be honest i'm really surprised so many use safari, I mean I know it's the default pony in the Mac stall, and webkit is nice of course but other than that, at least for me, safari seems to lag pretty far behind Chrome and FF in features.

The only feature of a web browser is to render web pages.
I use Safari, previously used Firefox but got tired of memory issues.

When on Google+ I use Chrome as Safari has issues loading the site.

For the rest I use Safari. Am thinking about moving to Chrome too on the Mac (already on Windows)

i use firefox as i find chrome to a be complete mess why in the world for each tab does it need to have a process running the computer i find firefox even thou it has its own problems to be better the one with the firefox process and the other for flash for firefox

I like safari because it (of course) is seamless with Lion, and to me is just as fast as Chrome, but I like Chrome as well... (One reason being it is much more friendlier with YouTube than Safari!)

I am using Firefox but I am getting tired of getting a new version every month. I like updates but come on.

Same here. Too many updates, which makes add-ons that I use not compatible. I ended up using Nightly Tester Tools just to bypass compatibility. I stopped updating, until I hear about a major update.

I've switched from Chrome to Safari to Chrome to Safari to Chrome etc. Right now I'm on the Chrome cycle. I probably cycle between the 2 browsers every 6 months or so.

Been using Chrome as my default browser for more than two years now. Fantastic browser, no complains.

I'm using the latest version of Safari, overall love it over other browsers at least on Mac OS.. I usually use Firefox on Windows..

I think full screen Safari really is better than full screen Chrome in my opinion, one reason being the full toolbar

Well in the screenshot of chrome you are showing the bookmarks toolbar and in Safari you are not. Also once you open more than one tab in Safari it is essentially the same thing.

Currently on Chrome but thinking about switching back to Safari due to resources being sucked up.

Does anyone know what information Chrome sends/doesn't send back to Google? They harvest so much information about their users it honestly makes me nervous to use Chrome wondering what data they are mining. Therefore, I use Safari, IE, and occassionally Firefox (used to exclusively until they got on that rapid release cycle like Chrome:mad:)

As I understand it, many things, such as what you type into the search/location bar are sent to Google by default, but pretty much every feature can be disabled, except automatic checking for updates: http://www.howtogeek.com/100361/how-to-optimize-google-chrome-for-maximum-privacy/

FWIW, SRW Iron is a Chromium browser that functions the same as Chrome, but has no communication with Google.

It's interesting to see more people using safari than any other browser... I've always thought google chrome was top.

I rarely use Safari. I just use it to play Netflix or C-SPAN and I set it to show on all desktops. I wish it could be set to stay on top like iTunes.

I use Chrome because it works well with the way I use my computer. I use google tools like gmail and calendar. My address book syncs against my gmail contacts. That has saved me more than once.

The only reason I use Firefox is because of DownThemAll!. It tends to be more reliable with "work" websites.

Safari here, like the look and feel like all things Mac:apple: ;) You can also run test via different browsers, and Safari has scored highest for me almost every time. Sure has come a long way for the crashing application it once was.
