i use Firefox on my rMBP, but safari on my 7+ and iPP, and have been thinking about switching to Firefox on my iOS devices too.

Smart move or dumb move. Do they run good on the mobil devices? I mainly use Firefox for the add ons and flash, do we get the same perks?

i use FF on all my desktop devices but Safari on all my portables. personal choice entirely.

i was joyed when FF was eventually released for IOS, but for me it's an anticlimax and pretty poor. and i wouldnt worry about Flash. this really really is becoming a relic and a thing of the past. certainly not a thing going forward.

Why not try it and find out for yourself? It's just a browser. There's no commitment involved.

I use Chrome on all my devices, by the way.

On my Mini 3, many apps try launch my outdated Safari since I using the original iOS. Chrome seems to run on my iOS and it much faster then Safari and has more features and can do much more tabs then Safari.

A downside to using Fx for iOS - it can't use content blockers, even Mozilla's own.

[...]Currently, Focus by Firefox only works with Safari, not Firefox for iOS. This was not our choice—Apple has chosen to make content blocking unavailable to third party browsers on iOS. We are exploring how we can provide this feature on Firefox for iOS and will deliver it as soon as it’s possible.[...]

I've always used Safari on iOS. Chrome seems so much better now than it used to be, but now Safari has split view.

On iOS: Safari. Unlike Android, Apple put certain limitation on 3rd party browsers in iOS, so they all are running the same engine with less features. Might as well use Safari for the full benefit.
On Android: Firefox 1st, Chrome 2nd.
On macOS: Safari 1st, Chrome 2nd (mainly for sites that still use Flash).
On Windows: Firefox 1st, Chrome 2nd.

I use safari, keeps all my bookmarks, reading lists and passwords in check easiest!
