Did the yellowness improve?

I don't. I don't have any of the issues reported since the 7 and 7 Plus were released. No screen issues. no clicking when twisting, nothing. I guess that makes me a god or something. :D

Or someone who doesn't notice these things at all. I am not denying you can't have these but my gf and other friends can't notice any of the issues that I point them out to. So I am sure these sort of colour variation are more visible to some. Makes me jealous nonetheless

Or some who do have a yellowish display, don't care and can move on with life and enjoy the iPhone for what it is. And others are distracted by the most minuscule, slightest concern and think the perfect iPhone should exist in every facet.

It won't improve, but you may habituate to it.

I think most people don't really notice these things. I wish I could be part of that group, as it would make enjoying Apple products much easier. But I just have that type of brain that can't not see the defects and flaws.

Same here. I don't mind the overall tint of the phone but my bottom left is warm. And the extreme right edge is cool. And it just nags at me.

I'm always amused by those who can't bring themselves to believe that someone else's phone doesn't have issues. I understand, though, since forums tend to bring these problems to a focal point.

Agreed. Macrumors doesn't qualify for every user to have the same experience with their iPhone. Especially considering the millions of iPhones used and those who don't frequent tech forums.

I purchased a 6s Plus via Swappa and compared it to an existing 6s Plus I already owned. The screen from the phone I purchased on Swappa was severely more yellow than the 6s Plus I owned. I ended up returning the device as it looked like "nightshift" was on all the time.

Like other members mentioned, the "yellow" doesn't go away. Your eyes may adjust to the screen, but it's still there.

I have the same thing on my iPhone 7. Variation of left and right edge with a dull bottom left corner.
