I figured this would be a fun thread to start so everyone could share what they got for Christmas.

I got a new tripod, a class 10 32Gb SD card, my mom gave me her old canon rebel G with 4 boxes of film and lastly a macro lens for my canon xs.

What did you get?

Initially bought it just to try it out but I really like it a lot so I'm going to keep it as a gift to myself for Christmas!

Wacom

My wife surprised me with a Wacom Intous4 wireless tablet. I've been eyeballing this baby all year and all year she's denied me from buying it. :)

Also, just before Christmas I bought myself an Alienbee 800 mono light. Now all i need is more time to shoot!

Canon T3, I'm a starter, so go easy... But I took well over 200 pictures yesterday, and am editing them now. Just got bored, so came here..

the T3 is actually a very good camera, i have a lot of respect for the rebel line because i have owned countless rebels in the past.

Canon EFS 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS lens for my Rebel Xs, tripod, and a wired and wireless remote. Sadly, the wireless remote doesn't work with my camera (salesmen told my dad it would...ugh) but I'm keeping it anyway. I'm planning on upgrading the body in a while to one that will support the IR remote.

Got lucky here in Canada: Parents were able to get their hands on a brand new Powershot S100 even though they're backordered till Jan 15. Great walking around camera when i can't carry my 7D with me.

When you are older and more established the question becomes what cool gifts did you give for Christmas? Remember, 'tis the season for giving.

Well...I gave my dad a motor for his pasta maker, so he doesn't need someone to help him crank it.

Since this is the photography forum, I also got two different calendars printed from Apple with pictures I took with my camera!
