Ok, no offense but that is just either plain nuts and you are pulling our leg(s) or show off .. it's christmas and presents are supposed to mean something.. not "buy the local store and post it online " or "I post my list of what to do with 100k and pretend its all mine" :)

besides with all that stuff.. you ONLY got a3TB g -safe? shame on you.. you will fill that with the pentax alone in a month ...

If you got all that for xmas and still expect more for your birthday i clearly can see why we have a big financial crisis :)

Forget the milk and cookies, did you leave out pain killers for Santa's hernia? :p

Nikon 35mm f/1.8 Been waiting to get this lens and love every bit of it :D
A couple of lighting books and a nice 32x23x3 hard case portfolio case for prints and artwork :)

Some other things not photo related and were very nice to get. It was a very nice Xmas, nicest in a long time with friends & family.

I did buy myself a very nice Manfrotto 1004BAC stand, can't tell anyone enough how nice of a stand it is and how great it helps hold things for photography/video. If you ever wondered how it's built, I can say it's a quality stand and would highly recommend it. I would like to get a couple more down the road ;)

The 3TB G-Safe is as big as they come (and those are new). It's for off-site storage. I put the 24TS lens on ebay because it seemed redundant with the 17TS.

Uhm... No.

I got a tripod, that'll stop me borrowing my dad's partner's....
I got a cable remote, that'll help with taking long exposures on the tripod....
And I got a 50mm f/1.8 Canon lens, that'll be good for taking photos with.... :)

Merry Christmas all!

Only gifted myself the 8x ND filter, 52mm size.

Didn't get anything else - but also don't want/need anything else.

Nikkor 50mm f1.8D lens for my D90. One of the better lenses I have used, I highly recommend it. I also got a Tamrac System 3 bag that fits all my current equipment quite nicely (D90, 50mm f1.8, 18-135mm f3/4.5, 70-300mm f4/5.6, SB-600).

The Photographer's Mind by Michael Freeman

Not a photographic Christmas this year! :)

even 48 hrs later, still shocked at what i got from santa this yr... canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS mark II telephoto lens for my gripped 5DMKII

Santa got me this lens too!, my second L lens after the 24-70 he bought me last xmas... gotta love Claus.

Bought myself an Oly E-P3, does that count? :D

I needed something smaller than the big DSLR for the bike. It took up about a 1/3 of my luggage with just the small bag.

I got a Nikon V1 (2 lens kit) from my wife. Of course I picked it out :)

I thoroughly enjoyed using this camera on my vacation last week. Great images, small size, just what the doctored ordered. I have a DSLR but as I'm involved with my children's activities, more often then not I found it cumbersome to lug that around. I'd rather give up some IQ due to a smaller sensor but gain the ability/desire to take the camera to more venues.

The old adage applies here for me. "the best camera is the one that's with you" What good is the SLR's speed and image quality if its sitting on the shelf.

Bunch of odd and ends that I've needed for a while...

- Couple of books (Exposure, Composition and Speedlite)
- B+W 77mm Kaesemann MRC CPL
- Second 580EX II w/Omni Bounce and Power Pack
- CS5 Upgrade ( on Adobe's new upgrade policy, I was waiting for CS6)
- A few prints & frames for 2011 photos
- Gorillapod (mainly for secondary flashes)
- Tripod/Head, Manfrotto 055XPROB/498RC2
- Couple of UDMA 6 CF cards
- Little things like rocket blaster, microfiber, lens pen, etc

Pretty solid list if you ask me.... :D

I used FutureShop giftcards to buy two 8gb Class 10 SanDisk SD cards and two 16gb Class 6 SanDisk SD cards.

Also, my girlfriend got me an Ona Union Street messenger, which unfortunately did not work out at all. We returned it and I got the significantly less expensive (but infinitely more versatile) Tenba Large laptop Messenger in Olive.

I also ordered some 8x10 prints from Apple, as well as an extra-large photobook through iPhoto as gifts for friends and family.

I got a Panasonic AG-HMC40 and it is lovely. Of course this doesn't quailify as a photo camera but I thought I would share...
