Hello all.. I am new to Film making. I wrote a screen play and I want to make an independent production of it. It will involve many shots at night or in dark rooms so alot of low light shooting... It will also involve a fair amount of daytime shooting. It must be able to hold up against light water splashes. Rain, Pool, splashes and such so something durable. My questions is what would be a good camera for something like this. I don't want it to look incredible like SUPER HD but I do want it to look at least professional with professional sound. I want it to have watered down look more or less with low color settings to give it character. I am new to this so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
