We are seeing a lot of 64 3's because Apple makes more money selling them (higher margins) so their stuffing the channels, especially at Best Buy with ONLY 64 3G's. My local Best Buy where I bought my 64 3G gets iPads in almost daily and they are ALL 64 3G's, go figure :)

I'm not complaining though, it's the model I wanted anyway.

32 GB 3G. Plenty of space for my needs. I got the 3G cause you never know when it might come in handy.

32gb but I highly regret it and recommend the 64gb.

You can't add more RAM later, it's well worth the extra $100.

The more RAM installed, the more flexible the use of the device.

I've already had to delete things several times to make room, things I did not want to delete.

Actually, from the iSupply breakdown Apple has the highest margins on the 32gb models.

I have the 64/3G version myself. I figured that I'd rather have more than I needed. However, I am honestly somewhat regretting that. I've had it since the 3G launch day and I have yet to use more than ~2-3gb at most. Thing is, I don't put music on it nor do I put much video on it either. I keep maybe 2-3 movies and a couple podcasts on mine. I find I use it more for actually doing research and getting things done than entertainment/games. If I had it to do over I'd probably just have gotten the 16gb 3G version. I have a 16gb iPhone 3G that I keep some music on, and I keep both items with me always so any/all functionality gaps are filled.

Honestly, I'd sooner ditch my iPhone than my iPad at this point. It just allows me to get more work done quicker and provides a better platform when dealing with customers.

Hmmm.... I don't think your iPad has 32gb of RAM, RAM is what everything runs on, the iPad has like 250mb of ram, your iPad has 32gb of storage (flash memory or whatever)

Flash memory is also a form of RAM. Who really cares though, it has absolutely nothing to do with the point. :apple:

64 3G. And almost full. I have tons of files in Pages, Numbers, Goodreader etc. which explains my "Other". I'm also addicted to the App Store :D.

Dang it! Almost 36 GB worth of apps?! Do you like log into the App Store and get one of each? :)

If you guys can make a short reason why you chose that capacity.:D:apple:

I have a 64+3G that I use for work. Lots of files (PDF, Numbers, etc). But the main reason is that I travel a lot and I usually carry about 10-12 movies which means 15-18 GB just for that.

So far, the data indicates that most people either went for the least expensive or the most expensive...

16gb 3G with only 5gb's used mostly because everything i do is online or streaming youtube and netflix so no point for downloading unless it's for apps or music and some iWork stuff.

This is my laptop and cell phone replacement- saved me a ton of money paying only $15 a month for 3G and making calls with skype instead of a minimum $65 a month for a iPhone 4 plus a laptop.

If they would have offered 500GB HD I would have gotten it. I'm the type of person who if given the space I will fill it.

32 Gig WiFi model for me.

I wish I would have gotten the 16 gig WiFi. I have zero music on mine, as my 32 gig iphone is always in my pocket, and that holds my whole music collection. I'm not a hoarder, I only have stuff that I actively listen to.

No videos, as I watch everything with AirVideo from my Mac Pro, or Netflix.

The only thing on mine are apps and my PDF library of textbooks.
