I am looking for a case with a modern, clean design.

Has to have room for at least one optical bay as I do video work and burn DVDs and Blu-Rays.

Definitely: Fractal R5 or Fractal Define S (which I have and prefer).
I spent a lot time with this question on Internet for my build.

I use a BeQuiet Silent Base 800 but the case is not the only thing to think about when it comes to quiet computing.

Like @hemon I run a Fractal Design Define S case. Make sure you can control fan rpm (but keep an eye on the temps). The single biggest improvement in noise level for me was switching to a (voltage regulated) Noctua fan on the CPU cooler tower. Now I'm just hating the stock cooler on my graphics card.

For sure looking at the R5. Does anybody see the Titanium in person? How.does it compare to just the black?

Thank you!

I control the RPM over the motherboard (GA-Z97X-UD5H) and I have the Dark Rock Pro 3 for the CPU. The temps are very good: max. 64c @100%. With also the GPU at 100% (MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X) the noise level is very, very, low; I can hardly hear anything!
