what cases have you dropped your I4 in, and what was the outcome?

Interesting thread.

My story: Ifrogz luxe lean. Dropped face down onto concrete 3-4 ft. iPhone face completely shattered but still working. $199 replacement at Apple store. Case showing moderate scuffs and scratches (in a drawer where it now sits unused and unloved)

This was my first case (desperate to have it in SOMETHING.)

I returned it to Best Buy 2 days later because of how flimsy it felt.

Went naked for weeks until they sent me a free bumper (this is wayyy before the Free Case Program) and the phone was fine. I ended up swapping it out for a couple reasons, but this newer one has been in a case since day 1 and it's holding up fine.
