What color 4S are you getting?

A dual core processor and more ram (to me) is a major bump over the iPhone 4.

not enough to use my upgrade..it would be tempting..but I don't think I would use my upgrade unless something happened with my iPhone 4.

I think we are entitled to post anywhere you want and unless you're a moderator you can't tell anyone not to do so. Further more you're the one implying there is only going to be an iPhone 4. No one knows including you what is going to be released. For all we know it may well be an iPhone 5 or also an iPhone 4S.

True, i wouldn't upgrade either if i had to wait very 2 years to upgrade, but i get upgrades every year. Plus selling my unlocked iPhone 4's will pay for a new iPhone every year.

Just fyi, I have the white iP4, and every piece of dust in the corners of the phone are magnified. I am going with black next time around.

Now that's interesting. My black car shows dust and dirt like no other, so I'm surprised that it's different for phones.

To each his own..iPhone 4 is a great phone even after a year and a half. I can wait and hope for the best..I just don't see them releasing a spec bump after a year and a half wait..

In that case I'm going to post that regardless of whether there will be an iPhone 4S there may well also be an iPhone 5 and therefore I'm going to get a White iPhone 5.

It would be pretty cool if Apple can introduce more colors than just black and white similar to what they did to the iPod minis and nanos. Nokia has done the same thing with the Nokia N8 and recently released N9. Nintendo does this all the time. Different color variations alone can sell like crazy since most of the market they cater to care about the looks over anything.

It would, but these colors are ugly, I would prefer the colors like on Nano/Shuffle.

I want an iPhone 5 too, but after the iTunes leak i have come to terms with getting a 4S.

We have not known the official name for the coming iPhone yet, but whatever it is, my choice will be black. It looks more manly, classy and elegant to me. Maybe it is because my clothes are mostly in black colour; I do not know.

Just link it with other things, like cars, clothes and so on. Black colour is usually the most favourite and appropriate for cars; the same can be subtly applied to couture clothes for men, unless I have missed some major fashion trends lately.

Even so, it is just a matter of taste and preference.
