Everyone online seems to always talk about Space Gray.

In person I see people with mostly Rose Gold and Silver.

It seems like Gold is out now.

I wanted Silver and my gf wanted Rose Gold 6S Plus 64gb. However we had to settle for Space Gray because that's all Costco had. We had to settle because it was the last day for the Buy Get One Free deal + $300 rebate and those are the only two they had left.

The one that you like is the most popular. Who cares what others think or want. It changes all the time. Small sample from any forum, specially if millions are sold each year
 
Really...a poll on what color iphone? It's been months since this was a hot topic...time to move on.
 
The following is personal opinion only. But it is the reason I have a Space Gray iPhone and not any other color.

I would speculate that the majority of those getting the Space Gray iPhone really wanted Black. But since Apple no longer offers Black, Space Gray is the closest you can get to it. And it's the only model with the black face.
 
The point of this thread is why Space Gray is more popular online but in real life it's not.

IDK. Except for my wife's iPhone everyone else I know that has an iPhone has a Space Gray iPhone.

Maybe it's just your immediate surroundings?

I beg to differ. I work all day long with all 4 major carriers and dozens of international carriers for my job and we see way more individuals buying space gray than any other color.
 
I have the space gray s plus. No preference really. It didn't matter what color I got since the phone is always in a case.
 
I would say that in all of the iphone generations the black phones (grey) are the more popular devices. I just prefer the black front because you cant tell the screen from the front bezels when off. I would just prefer a darker tone to these new ios versions.
I have had a black 3g, 4, 4s, white 5s, black 6 plus. Just could not get used to the white bezels.

Hopefully apple brings an all black iphone and none of this grey stuff
 
So far you got 11 responses out of millions sold. Why the poll OP ? They accomplish absolutely nothing
 
All I see are white faced iPhones at work. Mostly silver, some gold. I work with 99% women though. I might be the only one in the building with a black faced iPhone.
 
At my work the guys are mostly team space grey others are a mix of silver & gold. So far I have spotted one Rose Gold amongst the girls aside from mine of course:D

Is because us online folk have high quality taste in phones and accept only the best. Classic black faced with gun metal grey back, muted antenna lines. Rest of users go with the latest fad colors and tend to like the garish white look that brags, "I have an iPhone". Yes there are such superficial people, hard to believe, I know.

I wanted a Space Grey 6S+ (mainly for the black bezel) but they had none available so went for Gold instead.
 
I mostly see girls with Gold and guys or older people with Space Gray. I guess Rose Gold will be the new thing for girls now.
 
I wanted to try out a white bezel from my previous 6 plus Space Grey , so I did Rose Gold this time & loving it!

I am not a fan of the silver & gold.

That's basically where I'm at; I prefer black bezels so that leaves me with only Space Grey as my option.

In the poll, I chose Rose Gold. Living in China and on trips to HK, I definitely feel like I've seen Rose Gold the most often, likely followed by Gold. A lot of my co-workers seem to love white phones, so a lot of them used to own white 4s and white 5s but I've seen a trend lately of many of them moving to black, likely for a change of pace.

Gold was popular because, well, it's gold, and likely gives off this feeling of "I'm wealthy." Many people like this aspect, whereas many others also avoid buying the gold phone so they are not stereotyped into the same category. However, many buy the Rose Gold one because it's the new colour and also so it will be more obvious that they own the new hotness.
 
I prefer the black face, I wanted a Space Grey 6 but could only get Gold. Other than that I had the White 4 but wasn't that keen on it..
