What color ipad mini should I get/are you getting?? [Merged]

I normally refrain from even opening these type of threads, let alone posting in them, but this shhh is getting outta hand. How many of these "black or white?" threads do we really need? There's a ton of them for every generation of iPhone, iPad, and now this. After all these years, I'm it is a clear consensus: half the people want white and the other half want black.

Ugh!
 
I'm not sure yet.

I've got a black iPhone 5 and I really like the slate look, and I also have a black iPad 9.7. So I'm either going to get a black to match the stealth look of the iPhone 5, but the white mini also looks really nice.

Smart covers look really nice on the white device..

Why is deciding the colour of an iDevice always the hardest choice!
 
I will never do black again. Black is sleek looking, but its fingerprint city.... No Thank you. Once I went white and discovered how much better it looks throughout the day without no wiping it down... I was sold. I also don't find the white bezel impacts view-ability of the screen for video as some have claimed too.

I am speaking for me and my experience using the white bezel iDevices. My point is many say this and so many believe it to be absolutely true. In my case it simply is not. Lots of folks now are using the white versions. If they really impacted video so badly then Apple wouldn't have ever released them.

If I were a guessing man I'd say that the black display just looked good with the aluminum and they seen no reason to offer a choice. Clearly you are reading that to support something that isn't true for everyone.
 
The black looks so sleek and nice. I kind of like the white on iPhone and 9.7-inch iPad, but everything about the black looks so good on the mini.

I'll be going black, the slate back looks much more unique than previous ipads!
 
I love the way the slate back looks but I like white for the front. I think I'll get white and put a sticker boy skin on the back with a smart cover or something. if I get it. I loved the white front of my iPad 3 (which I returned). It really sets it apart. and I hated the iBook white and such that would get so dirty so fast, but this is different material and doesn't turn yellow. doesn't show fingerprints. I really really like the slate back.. but I won't be staring at the back.

*and yes, I am actually considering going for the iPad mini after complaining about lack of retina and other specs. The size and weight of it is probably amazing.. I really want to see it. grr.

I went with white because I have the launch-day black/slate iPhone 5, and I'm already tired of the scuffs/scratches showing as silver chips in the black from super minor bangs. White/silver shouldn't show.

I think you should get the color that helps you man up. This is a type of decision you should make on your own and there is NO need to come onto a forum to get help with it. FFS choose which one you want and get it.
 
They always say once you go black you never go back, but then again I've also heard one you go white, you usually hang tight! I am in the latter camp! LOL
 
Got the black and slate iPhone 5, but I really missed my old white iPad so I went with White for the mini.

Excited to see how different the silver looks from the old iPads.
