gosh, i guess i just don't get it. some ppl talk about going "conservative" with silver or wanting something that looks "professional" as a reason to get dull colors. it's just a phone. i wish apple made purple paisley., but Midnight Green is definitely the best color they offer on the Pro.
there is enough boring conformity in the world. give me color! same with cars - why in the world are silver and black the most common colors?? my most recent three cars were: Monaco Blue w/ Saddle interior, Mahogany Metallic with Carerra Red interior, and Miami Blue with Chalk interior. Have fun with life!

I think for me personally I don’t find those colors a safe choice or even a boring one. My favorite colors are shades of blacks, grays, and more darker muted colors. So while I personally don’t find those colors boring at the same time I love that there are people out there who can rock all kinds of fun different bright colors, it’s just not my style. I will say this, I originally got the space gray and for me I did find it not as appealing as the midnight green because it was something new and different and because I’ve gotten the space gray just about every time so I sold it to get that dark green goodness lol. So if they do come out with a dark blue iPhone for the 12, I will be branching out from space gray and picking that up lol.

agreed. i can totally appreciate a cool piece of electronics in a nice silver, or interior car trim in piano black - i shouldn't say those colors are "boring"...i just like to mix it up for variety. Dark blue would be a cool iPhone color!

Absolutely! I’m working on mixing it up and throwing a bit of color here and there as I tend to go a little Johnny Cash with my color choices lol. Dark blue would be amazing though as a color choice on the next iPhone lol.

I had the white/silver XS last year and absolutely hated it. I've had space gray or black on every other iPhone I've owned but never have I liked it as much as I do on my Pro. Just goes to show that you don't know what you got til you lose it.

Historically I always got space grey, because I hated the white front bezels. Now that that’s not an issue, I thought I’d try a different colour and went for gold. I love the colour, it’s not too blingy. If I had to choose a different colour it’d probably be space grey. I think I’d get bored of the midnight green and I’d absolutely never even consider the silver, it’s basically white. Not my kinda thing.

I'm still very happy with my 8 Plus, but i do kinda want the 6.7" iPhone 12 as a replacement. If i would get a 11 Pro Max, it would be in Space Gray or Silver. Gold would be my third choice, and the midnight green isn't for me, i prefer the Space Gray one. But Silver is also very nice.

Ummmm....

In Apple's world, it's not Black, it's Space Gray. So not a true black. Anyways I've always when with Space Gray color. I looked at the midnight green at the apple store and it's ugly in my opinion. I also I hate the color green anyways.

I've always bought the SG versions previously because I didn't like the front white bezels. That changed post-iPhone X since all phones have a front black bezels, but I've still stuck to SG. I was interested in maybe trying MG this time, but it wasn't available when I went to get my phone (about a week or two post-launch), so I went with SG again.

Picked up the MG for my girlfriend later on though as she was interested in the "new thang", and she seems happy enough with it.

Funny, I'm a little in the opposite position here. I got the Space Grey to play safe, but now, the more I see Midnight Green in real life and online videos, the more I seem to like it (and wish I instead got). Both of the colours have their ups. MG is like Space Grey, but has a little bit of green colour in it thats not overtly bright or standing out - which I like.

I also really love how the Midnight Green takes on a different look depending on the lighting situation, or how other people have comparatively said its like having two colours in one. And it still looks very elegant and professional.

Space Grey meanwhile has always been a 'classic' colour you can't go wrong with, and appears to have been updated to match the iPad Pro/MacBook shade of Space Grey which I really like - so you can 'match' the colours across your devices, unlike Midnight Green. I quite like that my iPhone Pro, MacBook Pro and soon to be delivered iPad Pro are the same (SG) colour, but thats me.

So yeah, both of these two colours I'm quite fond of. I mean if we were back in September and I had to choose all over again, it would be tricky...prob Midnight Green!

I won't be upgrading to the next generation iPhone that lands in September or whenever, but I do hope the Midnight Green sticks around for long term and isn't another Jet Black :)
The grayish of the MG is why I don't like it. I like more color. I probably would have gone with Silver if I knew in advance. Wish they would just release Cosmic Blue already instead of just teasing with rumors.

Still waiting to see the BLACK 11 pro max lol.
Yes! So mad they didn't keep Jet Black after the 7.

I like actual green but not that crap they think is green but almost always looks gray.

I want blue as long as it isn't navy. That would just be a repeat of MG where it would look black/gray. I prefer Royal but could probably live with something between Royal and Navy as long as it isn't too dark.

I went from a MG Pro Max to a SG Pro. I got sick of the too large phone after a few months. Just like every time I tried a "plus" model- back to a "regular". I have LG to XL hands, just prefer the slimmer width. Now I'm thinking I have the last 5.8" inch screen with slim width as the new 5.4 will be too small screen size , and then it will jump to a 6.1 or more with the 2020 models. This 11 Pro just might be my phone for 2-3 years & I have always upgraded every year since iPhone 1!

My work iPhone X died.. so I needed a phone quickly. Unfortunately I can no longer wait for the 12. So I just purchased 11 pro max in silver. I usually go SG but figured the silver/white and the larger phone will make it feel new/different...
