Also have a 2 Gb white nano that fell into water (cat's water dish) died .. but and has since come back to life ..

My iPod is a black 5G 30GB Video iPod.

I just rebuilt it, it was given to me by my sister. Spent about 40 in parts, got it a brand new front, back, headphones, and new headphone jack (She broke the old one by wrapping the headphones around it way too tightly.)

Works and looks like brand new now. Bought it a DLO case, to keep it in good condition, that clips to my belt.
