So I was messing around with display settings trying to find an appropriate color profile to use...and I was curious what most people use?

I've always felt the default "color LCD" panel settings were to yellow... so I really like the Adobe RGB 1998, it makes the white look natural, but now all they "grays" that I'm used to have a lot more blue in them...

So what settings are you guys using?

The only way to get a good one is to calibrate. If you don't have a colorimeter (really, who does...?) download this program called SuperCal. It's a great little program that will make your screen look amazing. All the profiles that came with my MBP made the screen look really washed out.

Don't expect to get a really good one on your first try. Do supercal a few times and then compare your results.

AdobeRGB, sRGB and AppleRGB are not display profiles. They're synthetic working spaces and in no way represent the actual physical characteristics of your display.
