What color would you choose if black and white were the same price??

I think if apple doesnt do a redesign in the next couple of weeks,rather a refresh, they should make the black more available. I know you can go buy them anywhere, but they should either make two black ones the same price as the white ones, or at least 50-100 dollars more than both versions of the white one. Im sick of white since thats all ive had at my house the past 5 years, but im about to start college and im buying my first computer that is all mine :D
I was planning on getting the base macbook for 1099 because thats all ill need going into buisness at michigan state, but i would have no problem paying 1199 or 1250 or something just for a black base macbook. I dont think apple will have a problem with people buying all black ones too because plenty of people like the white ones, for example i see the white 6th gen ipods alot more than the black ones and they are the same price.

What do you guys think??(i know the topic is more of a poll and my paragraph was more speculation)
 
why not make it a poll?

if i could choose, i would want them to be the same aluminum as in the MBP :)
so... technically white?
 
I think the fact that Apple's marketing team knows to charge more for the black options tells us a lot about how many people would rather have the black one. ;)
 
If Black wasn't that fingerprint loving, I'd go for black. But the thing I like best about
the black one, is the "matte" texture. Which is the reason of the craze for fingerprinting :(
 
I have white.

I'd have gone for black if both were the same price. But as a poor college student, money is more important than a paint job. ;)
 
i'd get the white. . even if they were the same price.
the facade isn't as important to me as the speed is. plus, what i'd really love would be something like the clam shell ones. . all the pretty colours to choose from seems amazing. but the black ones love fingerprints, and i'm very OCD about clean screens and a non-smudged keyboard. and the white just seems so much cleaner. but hey, that's just me.
 
i like black better, i own a blackbook cause i got it cheaper than a white one and it was my only option if i wanted a big discount

but if it came to paying more for the blackbook i rather buy the white one and save money
 
Black is so much better and stays cleaner! The white gets nasty..

+ the Black is the "premium" Macbook with the highest specs and was the first black mac of any kind in 7 years, thus...its more original I think.

In no way does this thing i'm typing on look like a PC...laughable.
 
I think they both great looking machines. I have black one as i think it looks best but i like the look of the white one as well. Wouldn't mind one of each. I look at it like a blonde and a brunette. I love brunettes but i wouldn't mind a blonde too ;)
 
The white macbook might get dirty on the outer case or scratches easier since it looks glossy outside, but the blackbook's trackpad and keyboard gets very oily and nasty looking especially under bright lights.

Also, I think its insane to pay $200 more just for 250gb hdd and the color black. If it were the same price I would honestly think hard about which one to buy, black because its so different because all the ibooks were white and I might choose white because it resembles the ibook and feels more like an apple notebook.
