i am ordering iphone 13 pro for the first time as opposed to buying in person, and ive had many nightmare stories with FedEx in my building (drivers leaving at wrong address or building). so im worried

Normally launch day is UPS. But they also use fedex. Id say current due to high demands likely UPS now. Once the warehouse is stocked up and apple shows next day delivery they can use either.

As people have said, in-stock items may ship either FedEx or UPS.

However, since you're ordering an iPhone 13 Pro, which is on significant back order, you can pretty much count on it being shipped via UPS directly from the factory in China.

just ordered. says november 18-27. excited

Remember that if Fedex ships it, you can always request a hold for pick up at your local fedex ship & print center. That’s What I always do If it’s fedex, I never let UPS or Fedex deliver my stuff to my unit. I always go pick it up.

Same with UPS, you can request a hold for pick up at UPS CC if you call.
