I have tried keeping paper diaries in the past but I often only last a couple of entries and it often feels like an burden. On the other hand, I have recently been feeling than I should keep some sort of diary, if for any reason, just for something to look back on.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some software for me to do this, either shareware or freeware? Also, how do you keep yourself motivated to continue making entries?

A pretty general application. I was looking for a specific program that specialises in keeping track of diaries / journals.

Thank you for the recommendation anyway!

I've used Journier before, not so much for keeping a diary as for working on genealogy.

I really like it, although I haven't used it so much lately.
