Ugh. Here is the damage:

Pentax DA 300mm f/4.0 ED (IF) SDM Auto Focus Lens with Hood + Warranty (Adorama)

Pentax TR Power Pack III for the AF-540FGZ (Adorama)

Pentax K-7 Body (B+H) as replacement for K10D.

Mac Mini 2.53 Ghz, 4 GB RAM (MacMall) to replace broken Core Duo Mini (2006) that died a painful death 2 months ago.

MiniStack 1 TB w/ eSATA and FW800 (OWC)

Lots o' money, but saved on each item.

we got the same monitor. How do you like it??

Don't know yet. I'm repainting my office and was going to set it up when that was done.

I'm thinking of using it as a second monitor, as I may score a good deal on the G2410 or the P2410. My old 1701FP is about to die, and it's analog as well.

BL.

Staples brand of CD-R (1x100pk) and DVD-R (2x50pk) about $4.99 each after online rebates

and a WD 500GB Passport @ $69

Oh, and from Half Price Books I give you the graphic novel "A People's History of American Empire" by Howard Zinn for around $7 before a 20% discount.

Got the reissues of Devo's "Are We Not Men..." and "Freedom of Choice" on 180g vinyl, for only $15 each...

"Teachers and critics all dance the Poot!" :D Both of these albums are classics. My fave, though, is the first I heard of the Spud Boys, back in my tween years: Oh, No! It's Devo. After that, I simply had to get their back catalog.

As to the topic at hand... I used :apple:'s Black Friday specials to snag a new iPod touch (primarily for my wife) and a iPod Composite Video Adapter.

I bought a 14 gallon Shop-Vac from Lowes for 29. I was able to get in and out within 6 minutes.

I thought it had a blower port though, but it didnt. :(

Came with the micro cleaning kit for computers though, thats 15 by itself. :D

I repurposed an old bissell carpet cleaner with a 6 amp motor that was missing most of the attachments as a blower with the micro kit. It's so powerful I can blow my PSP across my desk with it, and an unplugged LED fan gets spun so fast the lights glow from the generated electricity. Helped me clean out all my computers today. :D
