And now an extra $40+ for the logic board? This thing is costing you! :D
LOL! $60 is the lowest I can find. Yeah, :)

Funny thing…the seller (got it on eBay) declared it to be on it's "last" legs. I was determined to prove him wrong. Still am.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. About $12 for case screws because the seller tried to take it apart and lost them!

I have 3 Macs, but one of them is an Intel, so I will only mention the two that are PowerPCs.

The first one I got was my Power Mac G4 in the summer of 2012. I paid $60 for it. Originally, in the Kijiji ad, it was listed to have an 80GB hard drive, a single 1.25GHz processor and 256MB of RAM, but I actually got it with two 1.25GHz processors, 2GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive. Still works great.

Then, in the fall of 2012, I got my iMac G3. I paid $30 for it and had to drive an hour and a half across the city to pick it up. It came with 192MB of RAM, the original 6GB hard drive and its 350MHz processor. The hard drive was changed about 4 times and the RAM had its amount changed at least 5 times. The reason to this was I couldn't make up my mind as to what I wanted. When I was finished with that, it had an 80GB hard drive and 512MB of RAM. Unfortunately, the PAV board fried in it, so it doesn't work anymore. As of now, it has no RAM and no hard drive, and I may potentially remove the CD drive.

I would have never paid $30 for a first gen G3. Especially if it were that far away.

I feel like I am leaving something out in this list though...

I would have. But that's only because I have a certain sick and twisted soft spot for them. When I was first getting started in graphic design in school these were the Macs they had. Cheap and capable, even when OS X came along. And the commercials were cool.

Sentiment often sees me parting with more money than I should. :D

Early 2008 - Used 1.25Ghz 17" iMac G4 - $125, outbid my old employer when someone was wanting to trade it in. Still used as a file server.

Early 2008 - Sold my 17" PowerBook for $1700 and bought an aluminum iMac.

T'was the only iMac G3 on Kijiji at the time. I wanted it and I had the money, so I got it. It isn't a first generation G3, though. It is a slot-loader G3. The original generation with the tray-loading CD drive was available in slower speeds. The one that I have was (I think) the slowest of the slot-loading G3s.

At this point, the only G3 on Kijiji now is very expensive. At least $85, which I don't think to be worth it. But, it is very close to my location, unlike the one I have.

G5 (DP, 2.0 GHz) - $230
G4 Sawtooth (500 MHz) - $30
PowerBook G4 (15", 1.67 GHz) - $80
