Now that many of us have watched our order status change from "Preparing for shipment" to "Shipped" I was curious as to what devices you have decided to upgrade from?

Personally I went from the iPhone 3G, to the 4, skipped the 5 and went to the 5s. From there I went to the 6.

I decided to go to the 6 as upgrading from the 5s to the 6+ was a shock to the senses. Due to the sheer size of the 6+ and the compact nature of the 5/5s I felt the 6 would be a great segue to the 6+.

I love the 6 and I still use my 5s as an iPod for my car (stream via BT) but I've decided to go with the 6s+ this time around. Ive gotten used to the size of the 6 and I feel I could go bigger. I watch a LOT of video content on my phone (buy a lot of movies on iTunes) so I think this will be a welcome upgrade.

iPhone -> iPhone 3Gs -> Sony Ericsson w810 -> HTC Arrive -> Samsung Galaxy S3 -> iPhone 5s -> iPhone 6s

I didn't care much for my Windows phone (it was a Windows 7 phone), though I did like Android very much. What made me come back to the iPhone though was that I just couldn't get the battery to last on my S3. Either something I'm doing, or Android in general, but for my usage, my iPhone has way better battery management.

Somewhere
I had the 3G then I went to the 4S that one died and the only thing I could afford to replace it with was a 4. I then went to android with a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, and from there to the 6+ and I haven't ordered a 6S+ yet, but it might happen, otherwise I'll wait for the 7S as I want to be not he S cycle.

4s -> 5 -> 5s -> 6 -> 6s Plus
So I've been with the iPhone since the 4s, and I've been quite happy with it. My phones before the 4s were just basic texting phones.

HTC One M8. I haven't had an iPhone since the 3G in 2008. I'm definitely gonna miss Android but I'm just tired of all my friends telling me that they hate seeing my green text message bubbles.

oh man. Lets see if I can remember everything in the last 2 years even.

5s--nexus 4--HTC one--nexus 5--moto X 2013--Sony z3 compact---note 4---moto x 2014---note 5---nexus 6--1plus---iphone 6 (not in order, and I probably missed something).

I have probably had over 60 smartphones since the original iPhone

Almost the same here:

3G -> 4 -> 5s -> 6s+

Started with the "new phone" cycle, moved over to the "s" cycle.

I think the first was a 3G then 4S (wasn't there a 4G? poor memory here!) then 5c and now 6S.

There was a 4, then 4s.

I've gone/going from 3Gs > 4s > 5s > 6 > 6s+

I'm going from a 5 to a 6S. Before that I had small phones with a sliding keyboard.

Owned every iPhone. Going from 6 plus to 6s plus.

IPhone 6 plus will probably go down as the iPad 3 of iPhones. Too much lag for flagship phone from launch date sept 2014. It won't hold up well with ios updates beyond ios9
