I would say it's more a New York/New Jersey accent since I live in Maryland and no one says water like that, however my relatives in NJ say it like "wooter"

But we need 55ºF mean overnight temperature for eggplant to set, and about that for tomatoes as well! Got the hat on upside down or something? It's barely 50 degrees some mornings, 47 last week one day.
Never mind. On balance, ya done righteously good in the hat department, with one or two notable lapses I remember from the 50s in Rochester. 48" snowfall off Ontario overnight a couple times. Couldn't get the cars out of the garage or driveway for a week each time.

But what you don't know is that the "learning challenged" cousin is in fact just quiet and polite. They have been watching all those family moments, the fights, the spats, the illicit romances - you know, all those moments that any family keeps to itself. Well, because the cousin is family - all those sordid episodes have been played out in front of this "learning challenged" cousin, who actually has been writing a series of best-selling novels under a pen-name. Once a year they leave their modest one bedroom townhouse with a sensible mo-ped in the garage, and head down to Rio for Carnivale for the week. Here they dance 'til dawn, have wild romantic flings, buy rounds of drinks for the entire bar, and are generally considered the heart of the party. And then they come back, and continue their quiet life, watching.....
