what do i do with my iphone 4 now?

Im watching some college football now and have seen 2 commercials saying that " now that the new iPhone is coming out, they will buy your existing iPhone". "High pay, free shipping, fast money".
Didnt get the name of the company.

Continue using it until the next generation comes out, then trade it in to AT&T/Verizon. You're limiting your options severely by not utilizing Craigslist to sell it, since that would be the most prominent way to sell it locally and getting cash immediately. Or, you could go to http://www.gazelle.com/ and get a quote on your phone.
Most the companies buy it ALOT less than you would get on eBay. Including fees. But there really is no hassle on the websites.

Yea. I just thought it was interesting that they chose to ask about old iPhone purchasing this weekend. Never even heard of them.
Keep it, its a great looking phone, one of a kind. I'm keeping mine and will use it for some things and just to have it as a back up. iPhone 4 is the best looking phone out there. But if you need the money, then sell it. Do you have a brother or sister you can give it to? Pass it down to family?
So you don't want to use ebay or craigslist and you don't want to give it a service that takes old models...you tell us man. Wtf do you want to do? Stop being a pujo and get that thing on craigslist. Have a person meet you at a carrier store or whatever so you don't get taken from behind in some dark dank parking lot.
Not sure what fees you are referring too? It is very cheap to sell an item on ebay and I've never paid paypal a dime for buying or selling an item on ebay. I have made good money on all of my previous iPhone's by selling them on ebay and will do the same with my iP4 when the new one comes out in a couple of weeks. What other phone could you sell when the new model comes out and break even or actually make money on it....

what? you do know when you receive a paypal payment that they get a % of the payment. and ebay fees are at an alltime high now, thats why people dont want to sell on ebay anymore
Gazelle and other buy back sites like that wont give you as much money as CL or Ebay.
They will just offer you something in order for you to send them the phone in and once they receive it they will say oh it has scratches or is not in excellent condition and will offer you way less.
Paypal has never taken a percentage of any of my sales. Granted I have only ever sold two or three items. The Ebay fees are very cheap I think. You can always go with craigslist.
unless you accept payment as gift go check. you do not get exact amount. the fees are not big unless dealing with $500+ but when someone sends money you dont get exact total.
