Hi all,
sorry if this is a stupid question but i have got to the easy set up (I'm using Final Cut Pro 7) and am stumped. Im not sure if i should put in the 'use' box HDV 1080i50, HDV 1080i50 FireWire Basic, HDV 1080p25 FireWire Basic or HDV 720p25.
All these options come up when i put the format as HDV and the frame rate to 25, which are all the setting information that I have from the shoot. We shot on a Cannon HV A1 (which I believe is 1080i with an optional progressive mode of 1080p. Is this correct?)
I think we shot progressive - on playback on the HV20 it states it is 25f which i believe relates to the frame rate, which at 25f, i think means that its progressive?
Therefore my guess is that I should use the 1080p25 setting. Is this correct?
By the way, in case its important I am capturing the footage with a Canon HV20 with a firewire to my external Hard drive then a firewire from the hard drive to a usb2 on my imac.
Thanks!
