If someone sends you a pic of their big 'ol mikers in iMessage (or any other app) what does the notification look like?
 
There is a little pop up window, or you can go to the messages app like you would on your iPhone. Definitely a valid concern if you are in guest mode and allow access to all apps.

I saw this on a demo and the app icon appears as a dot at the top of the field of view and you look at it to open. As far as I'm aware there's no Notification Centre.

This little floating icon is all that you see when a notification comes in. You can’t see the content, or even the sender of the message, until you select this icon by looking at it, and then tapping your thumb and forefinger together:

There is one! It’s accessible from Control Center, pictured here:

(NOTE: I cleared all my other notifications before taking this photo, but it does show multiple notifications from different apps at the same time)
