What do you carry with your MacBook Pro?

I don't normally carry around my MBP because I prefer my Lenovo x120e for most of my mobile needs.

However when I do, I carry a USB CAC reader, Magic Mouse, AC adapter, WD 1TB USB 3.0 EXT HDD and TBolt to VGA adapter.
 
I haven't received my MBP yet, but I will carry the 13" i5 MBP, MagSafe adapter and power cord, and my iPhone USB cord. What I am looking for is a bag that is very minimal and will carry just these items! I like the neoprene sleeves and have one for my current 15" PC, but it's a little big on the 15" so will be huge on the 13". I carry my Nook Color in a little satchel that has two compartments, one for the Nook and one that holds the power adapter. Very small bag and perfect for the quick trip to Barnes & Noble or Starbucks.

So, in addition to what you carry, what do you carry it in?

It's no longer made but it has lasted me for about 5 years now and still looks new. THey were even such a nice bag that one year AMD used them to give out as grab bags at a conference with their logo on it. I wish I had one of those ones.
 
I never thought about it until now. Guessing at the moment as I'm on my iPad,

Secured safely with a 13" Incase shoulder bag;


1. Micro USB to standard USB cable.
2. iPod dock connector to USB cable.
3. Cat 5 cable (never going to know when those moment you wish you had one).
4. Power adapter.
5. Old 2g iPhone headset.
6. Aluminum wireless remote.
7. 8GB USB thumb drive.
8. Small notepad with pen.

I think that's it. :rolleyes:

I usually carry my 17" MBP (2011) and the following:

Corsair 64G USB
iPhone 4 (with me all the time)
lightscribe pen & small notebook
 
Funny enough I have all this stuff laying on the floor since I just bought a SwissGear Ibex to replace my old JanSport.

  • 15" MBP in Vyper M3 shell
  • Power supply with the long cord
  • Micro USB cable
  • iPhone - though usually in my pocket
  • iPhone cable
  • USB wall charger from a Motorola Droid
  • Logitech G5 mouse
  • the Apple screen cloth
  • antacids
  • Skullcandy 50/50 earbuds
  • couple pens and a highlighter
  • Square Reader
  • Couple notebooks
  • Couple school books

1-iP4 sync cable (retractable)
1-Hauppauge USB tv tuner and its antenna
1-micro-sd to SD adapter, plus many micro SD from 2-16gb
2-USB Pendrive 4/8gb(utility/mac recovery)
1-a bag of mixed nuts for snack).
1-a bottle of diet coke.

Bag is a Targus XL

How do you like the Ibex?! Is it good/soft for your laptop. Enough space?
