    Hey guys!

I thought this would create an interesting topic for people to figure out more things to do in their free time. I'll go first :D

Well, I like to watch The Good Wife, play on my PS3 (currently playing Final Fantasy 13), and read.

Anyone know if The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a good book for men? It's considered a thriller right? Is it the 1st book of the trilogy?

    Ok, start discussin' and sharin'

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is an excellent series for anybody. Gender is meaningless here.

Otherwise, I, too, read. I walk my dogs, watch WAY too much TV and lurk on Mac Rumours.:D

I like to read, listen to music, visit old cities, castles, monasteries, sit in cafes, drink coffee, savour wine, walk by the sea, cook dinner for friends.....travel, explore, take photographs,

To the OP: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is a fantastic (and compulsive) read, as are the next two books in the trilogy; I can't recommend them highly enough. They will keep you from sleep for several successive nights (well, they did to me).

    Cheers

...fortunately on a forum, that means you take it however you'd like. :p

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I spend most of my free time in MR :D Besides MR, I play drums, hang out with friends, do some gaming (not much anymore, maybe an hour or two per week) and watch telly.

But yea, most of my free time is spent in front of my iMac

Would you characterize this as a difficult hobby?

I can't get any mental picture in my head of this hobby other than

"Oh look, a plane. Oh look, another plane."

On topic, ;), being retired, I have nothing but free time. Suffer!! :p

But I volunteer for several non-profit organisations, which fill up 4 days in a work-week.

The other work-day (Wednesday) I attend to Condo matters, as I am the current President of our Board of Directors.

Well, I grew up loving aviation (I grew up and still live near O'hare). So I really can't explain it why I love seeing the airplanes fly by. People think I'm weird for staring at Airplanes, but idgaf.

I think plane watching would be more apt. Plane spotting sounds like a special olympics event.
