Rhode Island School of Design
Pratt
University of Cincinnati

And probably a couple more for good measure, maybe Parsons and some other place but those are my top 3. Industrial Design is what I want to get in.

Nice - I will be attending Mass College of Art next Fall. I did Early Action for there... Got my letter just before Christmas. Ironically, my intended major is ID as well. :)

I love RISD, but Boston is a better location. I live in Worcester, MA, which is about the same distance from both Boston and Providence, so I've been to both MassArt and RISD countless times.

Pratt is prison-like... Have you toured there? To me, it didn't meet my expectations at all.

Very cool. Yea I've been to Pratt, it's the only college I've visited. That's the only ID department I've ever visited to I can't compare it to anything else. But it is city like. I'll be visiting RISD soon. Pratt is probably my last choice of those 3. It was initially my 1st choice cause of it's location.

How is the ID program at Mass Art? I haven't heard much about it. What other schools did you apply to?

my practice in procrastination consists mainly of putzing around on the net while listening to the iTunes.

:D but recently i've become addicted to watching dvd's on the beast.

Call of Duty 4

That's about it; I rarely procrastinate now that I've realized that it's easier to do things earlier so that I can chill later on.

my procrastination list

-do one shot to do's (ones that take an hour or less usually)
-clean
-search google
-ride my bike (not lately)
-talk on forums and im
-write a rant in my personal log
-play video games (rarely happens)

Only MassArt, I did Early Action. I had the grades, SAT scores and portfolio to get into RISD, but I honestly like MassArt better. Plus, I can do a lot with the $120,000 (over 5 years) I'll save by being at MassArt and not RISD.

MassArt has a very good ID program, and most graduates find jobs within a year or two.

I see, well good for you. I guess I'll look into considering MassArt then. Yea the price at RISD is ridiculous, but so is the other schools I'm applying to.

I'll watch some Top Gear, maybe some Fifth Gear, maybe some movies, look at stuff online, some 360, then here. Not always in that order, but somehow always including Top Gear and a movie.

I procrastinate wayyyy to much.

I'm very very very good at procrastinating. I watch tv and whatever is on I'll look up on wikipedia on my iPod touch. What's also great is to watch an old movie with a child actor in it, you look them up in wikipedia and see what other movies they are in. I once discovered that this funny kid who appeared in one of the first Malcolm in the middle episodes was actually the voice of Nemo!!!

laundry, stuff I usually dodge, like old towels to dry the dog's feet off with
water the houseplants
play the piano
count the iPods, round up the missing ones, pick some to reload
recharge some cell phones and iPods
make a pot of tea
work out for half an hour
watch a news podcast or TV show on iPhone
mess around with iTunes library, look at smart playlists of playcounts etc
run backups
make grocery list on the iPhone, practice typing with two thumbs
cut up and sauté veggies for a soup
pick over some dried beans and put them to soak
re-shovel the path to the woodpile
go get the mail and the newspaper

That depends largely on what I should be doing. For instance, I just need to finish one question on my Invertebrate feeding mechanisms essay, and since I can do it in about 5 minutes, I started taking shots of my centipede.

And now I'm procrastinating by telling everyone how I do it. :D

Well....
I check my email
Then Scubaboard.com
then TheDecoStop.com
then CaveDiver.net
then Forum.Scubatoys.com
then Macrumors
Then Ultimate Guitar Forum
then Pentax Users Forum
then Ranger Power Sports Forum
then my school email account
then Facebook
then Deviant Art

If I still need to procrastinate, I'll go back through thelist :) I have a guitar and bass with me here at college, I'll pick one up and play for a few minutes...I'll clean up a little.....maybe read a book. If it's late at night, I'll go for a walk for an hour or two.

Sweet! Another tech diver!
