It's a poll y'all!
text, safari, and ipod
Text, iPod, Calendar
It's not even close. Safari. Although game apps are now coming in a close second.
Call, text, browse safari.
lol at the poll options.
EMail BY FAR
Answer polls like this on MacRumors that are posted on a weekly basis.
It's Safari for me but I don't want to vote for "LOL internet" because then I'd be promoting the use of "LOL" as an acceptable way to form a logical point.
This is the most lol poll I have ever encountered. Kudos.
what is this "LOL" Internet? Is it a new type of network?
Didn't you hear? It is the newest feature on all 3G iPhones. Internet so funny, you can't help but LOL everytime you use it.
- E-Mail my homies (if you mean co-workers, then this)
Tricky question. I find that it shifts...
6 months ago I was doing a lot of traveling on business - so I used it to keep up with my e-mails, call home, and listen to music and audio books. Oh - and the map function was quite handy.
Two months ago I was unemployed - so it got used as a phone lots (10x as much talk time than normal according to the usage figures). And the maps were again handy finding interview locations (and even showing taxi drivers where they were supposed to go).
Now in a new (and better paid) job I commute by train - so that web browser gets a big workout as I check news and other sites.
Point is the iPhone did it all. No problem. And now the Apps open up even greater possibilities. I expect usage will continue to shift and change as time goes on. Importantly I've got enough usage out of it to justify (to me) the cost of the device (£269) and the O2 contract (£35 a month).
iPod, Game apps, Texting, Email
Email, using apps and some internet.
LOL I almost blew out my speakers and scared the H out of myself at almost 6AM!!
Wipe it clean of fingerprints.
I fondle it a lot. Sometimes I whisper softly to it. Otherwise, iPod, Safari, and streaming audio via Tuner are my main uses.
For me, the iPhone is still a phone first and foremost. iPod comes in second. Safari, Maps, and Mail are tied for third. And last but not least is SMS.
ipod, fer sure. and texts, and then all of my apps!
