It's interesting to see how opinions are divided on this :) Feel free to elaborate in the comments.

Idk, from so far what I have seen I would only like it for working remotely from bed.

It would be cool for outdoor use if it was smaller (the 1st AVP looks a bit too goofy walking around outside with it) and much better battery life. The Quest 3 gets 8 hours of battery life with the optional power bank (which the AVP forces you to use by default), so Apple has some work to do.

Cool concept, appears that it got most things right. Needs to be lighter and much cheaper, but i think they did it like this to get some money return on first movers, and developers on board, so it makes sense. They also need to get rev. B out quickly, for the masses.

I would like one of course, but not at that price. Also, I fail to see how much of a productivity gain I would achieve, and I have yet to come across someone saying that it is immensely good for it. VR gaming is cool, but I would never buy it just for that.

AR -- truly shrunk down to glasses form factor -- will be something that actually revolutionizes computing.

We are at least a decade away from being able to do that technologically (powering it is a huge issue)

AVP is much much closer to just another VR HMD than anything about to revolutionize computing.

A fun bauble for certain use cases, just like every other product so far released in this space.
