I'm usually on and off my mac and leave it powered on, was wondering if it's bad to have it set to computer sleep in 15min? Is it bad to be powering down into sleep mode a bunch of times throughout the day?

Should I put display sleep 15min and computer sleep an hour or two?

I have my display sleep set for 10 minutes. I recommend a similar setting.

As for computer sleep, going in to sleep mode isn't bad for your computer, but if you want to leave an Instant Messenger client running to gather messages while you're away from the computer, putting the computer to sleep too quickly would cause you to not get the messages. A couple of hours is probably a good number.

I have display sleep set to whatever the default is (10 minutes?) and computer sleep set to never. I got sick of the computer going to sleep when I'd left it doing a long-running task!

I never sleep mine.

The display turns off at 10 minutes.
